a Vision |
|
Objectives of this Module:
To gain an awareness and understanding
of the elements essential to creating a shared vision for the
integration and use of technology in school improvement.
To assist school leaders in engaging
their faculty in the development of a shared vision for using
technology in accomplishing the goals of their school improvement
plan.
|
| Strategies of this Module: |
|
The Institute facilitators use the Creating a Vision presentation
which provides information on the technology challenges facing
schools, the national and state of Florida technology goals for
schools and the pivotal role of school leaders in successfully
engaging their faculties in the development of a shared vision
for using technology in accomplishing the goals of their school
improvement plan.
The workshop's activities include a series of brainstorming
questions to enable school leaders to focus on ways that technology
can be used effectively as part of school improvement activities.
Participants will be asked to develop a vision statement for
technology use in their schools as part of a process that they
can take back and use with all stakeholders as they develop and
update their school improvement plans.
